Like everyone else said, he even called (missed the call, but I was in touch via email to let him know all were doing well), and wanted to see if I was happy with the mix (thoroughly was, was super surprised by the german wonder!). If you thought about buying from Hans and arent sure, do yourself a favor and just do it. The first 2 days, they were understandably skittish and eating very lightly. All are beautiful, healthy and already growing. All I can say is WOW! Received 1 Marlboro red, 1 Blue Diamond, 1 Pigeon Red, 1 Snakeskin Flachen, 1Stendker Tefe, 1 Cobalt, 1 German wonder, 1 Pigeon silver, 1 red scribelt, and 1 Pigeon snakeskin. Being eying Hans’s fish for a while and pulled the trigger. An awesome variety of fish!!!!Īfter not having discus for a long time, and running multiple cichlid tanks, I wanted to get back into the game.

The 10 fish that arrived: 1 Flachen, 1 Pigeon Silver, 2 Pigeon Blood Red, 1 Red Turquoise, 1 Snake Skin Red, 2 Blue Diamond, 1 snake skin flachen and 1 dark angel. Hans cares about his business, fish and customers. This guy is awesome! I did not expect him to call the day I got my fish nor to respond to my emails in such a timely manner. I will recommend Discus Hans to anyone looking to purchase discus. My tap water is aged for approximately 24 hours prior to adding it the tank and my fish are doing well. I remember listening to a video where Hans talked about water quality and he mentioned he uses tap water for his discus. The fish are eating everything I feed them. After having the fish for over a week, they are no longer hiding, come up to glass when I walk by and are eating out of my hand. I began to worry, so I emailed Hans once again late one night and he replied the same night. After three days of having the fish, they still were not eating flake and frozen food. The day they arrived, Hans called to make sure that the fish arrived in good health, of course they did! The fish were packaged and labeled well.
I purchased 10 of the 2.5 inch discus from Hans. Prior to my purchase I emailed Hans with questions and for advice, he replied to the email the same day.
