I've actually been looking at alternatives supporting both PC and Android to get seamless integration, but don't want to miss out on a lot of good Freeplane functionality and my ambition to try to use open source software when possible. Since "Thinking space" hasn't worked for a while and I really need to be able to access my mindmaps on the go, I am currently in a bad situation. It is a redesigned version of the well known FreeMind, and is created by one of FreeMind's key developers' and is a very popular Mind Mapping tool in the office & productivity category. My situation right now is that I have been running Freemind and then Freeplane for a lot of years, for a period also using Android "Thinking space" and Dropbox. And again I am primarily interested in Freeplane and not Docear, though haven't tried Docear to exactly what it is. The work required will of course depend on how the Docear webapplication is designed "behind the scenes". What are the plans for Freeplane when it comes to Docear's Webapplication functionality?
